- Most thrilling, unputdownable book of 2015?
The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place by Julie Berry. Which seems a bit odd given the competition but it was a mystery story and it flowed the best without my being so emotionally worked up that I had to walk away to regain perspective or calm down. That happened far too often this year. In the Afterlight. All Fall Down. Hollow Boy.
- Book that was most outside your comfort zone/new genre exploration?
Fullmetal Alchemist due to the fact that it is a manga series. I never ever thought I would read a manga, but here we are.
- Favorite cover of the year award goes to:
Jackaby (#1) by William Ritter
- Most beautifully-written book you read in 2015?
And again we have … 84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff
- Most memorable character:
Alyrra/Thorn from Thorn by Intisar Khanani and Jinx from Jinx’s Fire by Sage Blackwood.
Ahaha, well, gonna have to go with Clara Stole of Winterspell. She had her share of contenders, many of them worthy of the this title as well, but Clara managed to annoy me more than any of them.
Are we talking established couple? People I would love to see end up together?? What?
Either way, every single couple from The Lunar Chronicles: Cress and Thorne, Wolf and Scarlet, Jacin and Winter, and Cinder and Kai.
And Charles and Anna from Dead Heat by Patricia Briggs, the fourth in her Alpha & Omega series.
I suppose the awful (and completely unnecessary) death of Jedi Knight Tahl was the worst this year :((
